NAMBI, an adaptation from the original Ugandan folk tale of Kintu, tells the popular story with a different approach, one that introduces the character of Nambi to the minds and hearts of our audiences in a new and compelling way. Against the advice of her dear father Ggulu – Nambi , the only daughter of the heavenly realm, decides to descend from the comforts of her royal heritage and idyllic home to start a life with caveman Kintu. Ignorant of the growing dissent in the heavenly realm and the weight of her decision, Nambi naively charts her new path. However, her decision soon tips the scale on the delicate balance of existence of her world, which sets off a chain of events that ultimately leads to the collision of the heavenly and earthly realms in a final battle for supremacy over the world.

Eze and his elder brother Jeff relocate to Uganda and both have to face the challenges of moving into a new country. Eze joins high school in his final year and soon becomes friends with the school rugby captain, Wonny who has just been asked to get off the rugby team by his low-income earning father. The father believes his son’s involvement in sports affects his academic performance. The most brilliant student in class is Shamim. She aspires to become a pilot but is being prepared for marriage by her parent’s right after high school. She has just broken off a relationship with Kalungi. Kalungi, who comes from a very wealthy family, with no academic interest and parental supervision, has become a nightmare for the entire school. He becomes a torn in the flesh for Eze, when he finds out he has been hanging out with Shamim. Umutoni, a final year student, whose beauty has caught the attention of the class teacher Mr G. He is also the deputy headmaster and has wandering eyes for young girls. His interest in Umutoni forces her into a relationship with Kalungi with the hope of getting Mr G. off her back.

Sherry (Laura Kahunde) decides to breakup with her longtime love Joshua after a disagreement. The ruckus is intervened by Joshua’s best friend Salim (Patriq Nkakalukanyi) who wants them to make peace while Maria (Elizabeth Bwamimpeke), Sherry’s workmate also shows up to help her move out. When Maria and Salim are away, a burglar breaks into the house with Joshua and Sherry both in. Joshua (Moses Kiboneka Jr.) realizes after the incident that he still loves his woman and wants to do everything to take all that has happened back; only that Sherry has already made up her mind to leave.

A coming-of-age story about a Muslim girl that stands up to her family for the right to choose her fate but nearly loses everything. Rehema (Juliet Zansaanze) is in love with Sula (Ismael Ssesanga) but secretively her uncle and grandfather are plotting to marry her to someone else older because of his money. She powerfully rejects the marriage but an accident happens while fighting with her uncle and he dies leaving her imprisoned for Murder. Rehema now has to face the force of law while she fights for justice and her dreams.
